Introducing Puzzled Planet: A New Logic Puzzle Series from Horsecreek Digital

Grab your passport (and your pencil) — we've launched something new here at Horsecreek Digital, and it's called Puzzled Planet.

Every puzzle takes you somewhere. Every solution brings you home.

If you've followed our puzzle books before, you know we love a good theme. We've spent the last while taking readers on a world tour with the Capitals Around the Globe series — trivia, crosswords, and word searches built around cities from Lisbon to Bangkok. Puzzled Planet is a different kind of journey: instead of one city at a time, each volume immerses you in a single richly detailed world — a wine cellar, a grand hotel, a railway platform — and fills it with logic grid puzzles for you to solve using pure deduction. No trivia knowledge required, no trick questions, just careful reasoning and the satisfying click of a solved grid.

Three volumes are out now, with more on the way.

Book One: Uncorked: 100 Logic Puzzles from the World's Great Wine Regions

Pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass, and get ready to think. Uncorked carries you through 30+ celebrated wine regions — from the limestone cellars of Bordeaux to the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, from Marlborough's sun-drenched Sauvignon Blanc rows to the ancient qvevri caves of Georgia. Inside you'll find 100 original logic puzzles across five themed sections — The Cellar, The Vineyard, The Grand Tasting, The Cellar Master's Challenge, and The Sommelier's Grand Tour — spanning four difficulty levels from Easy to Expert. No wine expertise needed, just patience and a sharp eye.

Book Two: Last Stop: Logic Puzzles from the World's Great Railway Journeys

All aboard for a journey across five continents, told entirely in clues. Last Stop delivers 100 original logic grid puzzles set aboard the world's most iconic trains — the Orient Express gliding through the Balkans, the Trans-Siberian Railway crossing endless taiga, Japan's high-speed Shinkansen, India's bustling Rajdhani Express, and America's California Zephyr climbing through the Rockies. Match passengers to their seats, departure times, and one more telling detail — a destination, a dining order, a piece of cargo, an occupation — using nothing but careful deduction. Five 20-puzzle journeys in all, with a full answer key at the back for when you want to check your work (or peek).

Book Three: Checked In: Logic Puzzles from the World's Grand Hotels

Step into the lobby, drop your bags, and start deducing. Checked In sets its 100 puzzles inside five of the world's most storied hotels — the Belle Époque grandeur of the Ritz Paris, the colonial elegance of Raffles Singapore, old-Hollywood glamour at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the quiet ritual of a Kyoto ryokan, and the wild hush of a safari lodge in the Okavango Delta. Match guests to their rooms, arrival times, and defining details — a drink order, a concierge request, a staff assignment — using nothing but logic. Every puzzle comes with a solving grid and a full answer key.

Why Logic Puzzles?

Trivia tests what you know. Word searches test your eyes. Logic puzzles test something different: patience, pattern recognition, and the quiet joy of narrowing down possibilities until only one answer is left standing. It's been a fun new format for us to design, and a natural next step for a catalog built around exploring the world one puzzle at a time.

What to Expect Across the Series
